i had to get up at 8 am and trek through the snow to a final
but i kicked ass on it, so i guess it's okay
and now i'm cleaning and packing so i can go home tomorrow (yay! california! yay!)
tonight i'm going to go out with my friends and try my very best to get trashed

Well, if I can find a club in town that's playing some good jazz tonight, I'll be there. I may meet a brand new friend from out of town. But it doesn't look like there's any good jazz playing, so I think I'll find a quirky little asian/thai restaurant I've been wanting to see anyhow and we'll have dinner and some nice chat.

At least that's the plan. Otherwise I'll be cleaning house, posting to the boards and generally being surly and such.

It is usually pretty quiet so I can get some paper off my desk that gets stuck there throughout the week.

I will be attending my friend's graduation and cheering him on ... he has worked hard for this education thing so all of us are happy for him.

Afterwards back to his house for prolly the biggests party to be thrown in some time.

It's beautiful here today

Around 70f, sunny.

No one is home but me.

My partner & I played like shit and lost at tennis this morning. It was ugly. Came home, ate lunch, talked on the phone for a while. Getting ready to take a nap while watching the football game. I've been craving Chinese all week and may go to the Asian grocery for some Chinese BBQ pork for dinner. Yum.

I got as far as "fixing" the ornaments on the tree and getting the boxes ready to be put away. Also snuck a nap in there. Lunch break is almost over for me though and then it is back to work in the living room maze. I have way too many decorations.

Plans for Saturday...

Currently making dinner- Chicken in a vegetable/mushroom cream sauce w/ rice pilaf, a nicey-nice tossed salad, and homemade apple crisp baking in the oven for dessert!

Plans for tonight- we're renting a movie to watch on our BIG screen- just got delivered today! another thing that can never be too big!
