Male, 65, divorced and retired. Seeking a female travel partner for a travel trailer adventure. You might be retired, a remote worker, a teacher/professor on sabbatical, or student taking some time off from school. Any woman with the time, as little as a weeks vacation or a longer time frame. I plan on traveling south in the winter and north in the summer.

This is no role play but rather a real adventure to see the sights of this great country that I didn’t have time for when working. Interested? Then say hello!

You’re probably a relatively harmless normal guy.

But as a woman? This sounds like a great way to end up in a shallow grave.

Do you know why the women you date always want to meet in public and have their own ride home?

No post has ever made me wish harder for a like/upvote situation on this site.

I do think I’m pretty normal and I’m sure some will think the way you do. It is unfortunate that it can be viewed by some this way. Your opinion is yours to say and I don’t judge you for it. I did realize when I posted this that there would be people with your opinion of what they think could happen. I just know I’m not that kind of person and I choose to not be that negative. I’m not blind and I’m not of the opinion you seem to have that it will automatically be a horrid experience. I think better of people in general and I hope my judgement of someone is better than you give credit for.

I had planned on having who ever decided to come along, if anyone, that they call home and give them my name, license plate and phone number so they would always be able to get in touch with me should it be necessary. It’s common courtesy and it’s safer.

I have no problem meeting anyone in person prior to the journey in a public setting after lengthy discussions here to see if we can possibly enjoy each other’s company. Again, it’s only smart to do so, for both parties.. This isn't a jump on your bones kinda thing here. It’s for both to enjoy the company and scenery along the way. I hope it’s a positive experience for both.

My guy, that was a terribly longwinded way of saying "NoT AlL MeN!"

Super love the subtle way you try to frame this as women being too negative or unjustly assuming the worst of people with that "your opinion is yours" bullshit as if there hasn't been like, five women who were murdered while they were on camping trips this past summer.

LOL. Now you’re flying more red flags than a Regatta.

That men are dangerous to women is not an ‘opinion’ it is a fact. Women live with it every day.

I camp alone and hike alone often. The biggest danger to me is men.

Bears, weather, trail conditions, and my health are all more predictable than any man I run into in the woods. That is not my silly little girly opinion. That is 40+ years of lived experience, backed up by data.

Truth right here!

And how did Gabby Petito's camping trip work out, by the way?
