Planned Parenthhod says they will stop taking money for baby parts and tissue

Didnt they say they didnt take money for it?

Nope, they never said that.

I know you'll call me a liar, so before you do that go ahead and find a statement from them where they say they don't take money for the organs and/or tissues they provide and post the link to it here.

Planned Parenthood will no longer accept the reimbursements the used to receive for the expenses that fetal tissue donation caused.

That means taxpayers will be paying for the service now, instead of the research firms.

Well done, conservatives. You've expanded government yet again.

Taxpayers already pay a half a billion dollars a year that more than covers the costs for the doctors, nurses, refrigerators, scalpels, trocanters, suction pumps, lighting, the surgical suites. Was there something else that was needed?

The Styrofoam coolers maybe?

They were receiving reimbursements and now they aren't. Is this difficult for you?

Drivers and refrigeration off the top of my head.

I'm curious where you get the idea that half a billion more than covers the expenses.

@Phrodeau. Yes "taking money" is of course COMPLETELY different from "accepting reimbursement."

Interesting that your ilk figures that a low margin/ high labor cost business model can easily absorb the cost of radically increasing the highest cost that they have (labor) where a very high margin/ low labor cost business model like providing abortions cant. Especially since the exact same labor will be being done. Or are you suggesting they were violating federal law by altering the abortion procedure in order to harvest body parts? Since 3% of their procedures are abortions and abortion brings in 80% of their revenue I think they will be fine without the added "not revenue!!!" stream. Might have to wait a year or two for the Lamborghini. Why do you favor supporting the greedy rich?

How is it they cannot simply ship COD like any other medical transport. Why would the beneficiary not pay shipping to the shipping or transport people or pick it up? I covered refrigeration. They also have to have that on hand for samples anyway.

Because, according to them (refuted in the latest testimony by the president on the hill) the process of performing abortions is merely 3% of its business. Everything needed to "harvest tissue" already happens when they perform the abortion.

The government buys the bulk of the baby parts via the grants it funds research with. Now the money will go to PP a different way because pols want their fee's for disbursing your tax money.

It's all over the internet
Ok, I searched, and I can't find a single place where planned parenthood said they don't take money for fetal tissue and/or organs.
So it's just another lie on your part unless you can prove otherwise.

Actually, both your first and second post are lies.I wonder if that's a record for you.

Who knows why they can't ship COD. The beneficiary isn't paying because you just demanded that they stop doing that. As for refrigeration why would hat be covered, already? It's a biohazard to be destroyed, not an asset to be preserved.

Again where are you getting the idea they are 'more than covered'?

Because the CEO says that 80% of their revenues comes from abortions and 50% of their revenue comes from taxpayers. They make 1 billion a year. Since not one dime of taxpayer money can legally go towards an abortion it all HAS to go into stuff.

Quit being fucking argumentative for arguments sake.

if we had a real POTUS ... you know, one that makes decisions and gets shit done

time to cut off ALL funding

Yo. In prison, I decided that parenthood would be a great choice for me. I set about investigating my adoption options and had some of the fellas in the cellblock assist with the arduous process of completing the application. Several months later I was happily adopted by an older couple from Kansas.
