just read its just a game by friskycharlene, she lifted most of her story from sallytarts teasing wife gets waylaid.

Okay.

Why don't you e-mail the original author of the original story and tell her about it? Then she can contact L&M and maybe get something done. Your indignation is applause-worthy, but there's not much to be accomplished by telling us about it.

For starters, they could be one and the same author, of course. Better to do some checking before unleashing the indignation.

I looked and couldnt find any story by sallytart or sallytarts, or a story with title "Teasing Wife Gets Waylaid".

That's just wrong. I got somebody banned once for 'borrowing' one of my stories. Nice catch on your part.

The first half of the friskycharlene story is pretty much word for word the same as the Sally Tart one, except the names are changed. More significantly, it is much easier to read because punctuation has been tidied up (John just smiled and said you pick out your outfit just make it a skirt or dress, okay? becomes Trent just smiled and said, "You pick out your outfit, just make it a skirt or dress, okay?"), and typos caught (e.g. power blue panties). Then the story continues.

Could this be a collaboration? What are the rules on that?

The only question is if the original author is involved or has given consent. If either of those are true, then no harm, no foul.

Otherwise, it should be pulled. If it's still online ( which I assume it is ) and those who said that they've reported it have done so, then Laurel must have determined that one of the above two conditions is true.

If the author is involved and given consent the borrower should make an acknowledgment at the beginning of the story so this very thing does not happen. It could be the author rewriting part of the story and uploading it under a different name, for whatever reason.

If it's still online and it's plagiarism, then it's a matter of L & M doing the verification thing, I would think.
