I drove into Compton to go to Walmart and buy bath towels. We were staying in Hollywood with my kids. It was the only place open at 1am. I had absolutely no trouble, or felt uneasy. Everyone I ran into was friendly and smiled. Of course, I didn't realize I was in Compton until I got back and my kids told me. I don't think it's any different than any other area in any other big city.

I'd go back and give it 3 and a half owls on trip advisor.

That was my experience in Watts as well. Still can't see making plans to visit Compton.

I have no plans to visit Delmar Delaware.

I would consider going to Slaughter Beach Delaware, however.
