Alrighty.

Who is going to win.

I don't want to know who you are going to vote for. If you are going to vote or not, or who you hope will win.

If you had to drop a thousand on Dubya or Pal Al who would it be.

Place your bets place your bets .... no point spread or intern spread .... place your bets place your bets.

Remembering to limit yourself to the candidates at hand.

I'll even allow Nader.

Please, no write in candidates.

Well, if my strange dreams are a way of predicting the outcome of the election, then Bush will win. But that might not be much help considering that in my dreams everything is in this whole "Candyland" type world with bright colors and little happy children everywhere.

I myself am for Gore.

None!! They all suck but if I was to pick one for real!!'
I guess it would be Gore even tho..he is an asshole too..
but i try not to vote to offten we the people just need to find a person who knows that money is curruption and that congress has got to go!! then We the people Can come out stronger And take are country back from the assholes that run and steal are money that has no value what so ever ....
only reason it has value is because we believe it has value..it has none ...

But i vote for gore

The latest odds on the election have Bush favored 40 to 39, meaning that if you would bet $50 on George Dubbayah to win and he won, you would win $50.60 - not exactly worth placing the bet, is it?

And I believe the last "point spread" I saw had Bush at -12 in the Electoral College vote (meaning Dubbayah is favored to win by 12 Electoral votes... to win a bet on Dubbayah, he'd have to win by 13). Of course, Vegas doesn't set point spreads based on who they believe is gonna win, they're set to even the money. That number would change based on betting patterns - the idea being to set it at a point where as much money is being bet on one candidate as the other.

Wow. I live about 15 miles from Manhattan and about 100 miles from Pittsburg. Interesting.

I'm for Dubya. I got um, one, two, three, twenty eight, thirty three... 33 cents on Dubya.

Interestingly enough, I don't know how the hell she figures it either, but Erica Jong, I believe it was, in September's issue of 2000 stated in her little article that we'll never have a woman prez cause women vote with their hormones. She predicted we vote for the better looking stud puppy so Dubya would win.

Um... okay. Sure. If that were the case, wouldn't Brad Pitt be the write in candidate winner?

unfortunately

i would have to side with Lasher in the vote spread. I think Bush is gonna get "it" so to speak.

And, considering that I'm in the Health Insurance industry, the last thing I want is to have socialized medicine and Gore is proposing the beginning of such... Gore wants to keep health care privatized which, of course, would promote my position for however long I intend to stay in the field.... BUT.. but, but but.... like Sparky, I'm stuttering and am at odds and am indifferent to the whole political sphere. I know I shouldn't be. I know as an American I should celebrate the fact that havning a "voice" should account for something.. but what's that some "THING" of which I should be grateful?

Fill me in on that and I'll gladly cast my ballot here and at the polls.

oops

meant to say that Bush would be the one to keep health care privatized... too much Jack tonight, but felt I needed the boost to walk the 5 miles in the cold with the trick 'o treaters... *s*

Bush. Don't underestimate the stupidity of the american people.

36-5

There's an example of a difference for you between someone with character and someone without. I wouldn't call you or anyone else "stupid" just for voting for Gore. You'd have to do a lot more to prove your stupidity to me than that one thing. ;)

Bush. And it may not be the squeaker that everyone thinks it will.

You could try to predict the outcome of the election by the polls, but they really don't mean squat when the race is this close and there are so many undecided voters. I would chose the fat naked gay guy from Survivor over Bush but, that's just my humble opionion. I do predict though that what ever party gets into the Whitehouse, will not control the majority of the house.
