Pithecanthropus Erectus was recorded inh 1956 and features Jackie McLean on Alto sax, J.R Montrose on tenor sax, Mal Waldron on piano, Willie Jones on drums and, of course... Mingus on Bass...

Jazz like no one else did it.

OK - I've moved on to Beethoven's 6th Symphony.

Next I think I will listen to Mingus and Beethoven at the same time and see who wins.b

Haven't seen you around in ages, Chantal - how are you?

Been working about 60 hours a week----and then I got fired last Thursday! It is probably for the best though. That place was so shady. Been looking for a new job- had about 3 interviews and another on Thursday. So I should have something new soon.

This instability is making it very difficult to find a good center. But I am keeping my chin up. How are things going with you?

It sounds like you have had a good day or evening anyway. Wish I could join you.

Wow... all that work and then fired? That sucks.

Well - maybe that means you'll be around here more for a bit - then you'll find an even better job.

I've been good, mostly. Overworked and stressed and all the usual - but that's life. Meanwhile I've got a couple of trips coming up that I'm very much looking forward to.

Well, it was in sales (furniture) and Ididn't make quota last month. But this place had such bad morals.- They didn't outright lie to customers but they sure knew all the possible ways to prevaricate. (lie by omission, for those without a dicitionary)

I would love to take a trip to an exotic spa or something for about a month. I really am feeling disconnected spiritually right now and need to do some deep meditation.

I can think of some interesting ways to help you work off that stress.
