Pink Sheets

I went shopping tonight...and I bought pink sheets. Not a big deal to many but it is actually a huge thing to me...it is really a step to independance...My ex hated stuff like that and I am finally moving on to getting things I WANT...and not thinking will he like this...etc. I didnt even think about it when I bought them it was when I was putting them on the bed. I knwo I have moved on in so many ways, but it is the little things that are starting to have importance...like buying the bread I like...and things like that...silly I know but it is these little things that will make me a whole person by myself again.

I had a moment like that when I broke up with my ex. It was going to the grocery store and buying 1% milk without thinking about it. (He always had to have whole milk)

The Little Things...

..are what leads to the bigger things. The bigger thing being waking up one day in the future and NOT thinking about him. Making it a whole day without doing that. This is what I was talking to you about...taking care of yourself. Doing things for yourself, becaue YOU want to, becaue YOU need to and for once, not being concerned about how it will affect someone else. Things like sheets and girly things around your house are good for you, and they don't affect anyone but you. Its YOUR house now, all yours. This is a milestone...and you take one of those at a time!

As great as it is that you are starting to enjoy your independant singleness I gotta say being single is starting to be way overrated in my books.

Although the ability to buy bedding, towels and clothes in general without fear of general backlash does rock like a damn...

Well Im not single single...I just live alone and I have to say I am loving it.
