I got an orbital done yesterday!! For those of you who don't know what that is, it's 2 holes connected by one ring that goes perpendicular to the ear. Mine's in my upper cartlidge.
Actually, mine's 2 rings right now because she couldn't get the ring through the bottom hole, so I have to wait until it heals a little so she can work with it. Only thing is, she said the swelling would start to go down by last night. It hasn't. I can't even make out the fold on the side of my ear. I've been cleaning 2x a day with the Provon soap and soaking in sea salt once a day. I know it hasn't even been 24 hours yet, but is that much swelling normal?
