Methinks you mean how do you get an AV image beside your name.... it requires you to post 100 times on Lit. If you have any questions beyond that, the How-To forums are a great resource with friendly people willign to help out.

Those two are a couple posting with one screen name -- makes the av even more appropriate, yes? We recently had a pseudo avatar contest in this forum, which you oughta be able to find pretty easily by searching back a page or two in the archive.

There are also sites that offer free pre-sized and painted avatars. I've done pics of me, scanned pics that I've re-sized, and pre-done avs. It all works.
