How do I post a picture on a post????? Iknow it has to be from the net somewhere, just not how to post it.
There used to be a thread over here, but now it is gone.

Please tell show me exactly what to do...

G.R. you do it this way:

you put the code "image" before and after the link to where the picture is, like this

[image ]http://www.blahblagh.com/picofmyass.gif[/image ]

just remove the space between the "e" and "]"


As how to post as a guest, you remove your name and password in the fields above the reply box, and just type in the guest name you want to post as.

Close, but the "image tags" are spelled just IMG and /IMG in square brackets with no spaces.

Good to know you figured it out G.R. I found out later that I had written the tags wrong, and when I went back to correct it, W.H. had pointed it out.

IMG tags only work with URLs that end in GIF, JPG, and BMP and don't include a script call. (.cgi?<url> .php?<url> etc) The other common problem with images is hotlink protection, where a site stops the picture from being linked from anywhere other than a page that is part of the site, or password protection where a site requires a password to view anything from the site. If you can do smilies, you can do other images as long as you don't pick images that won't display for other reasons.
