If you're gonna get into the stuff, Samura is a great place to start. Of course, you can take the cover on part one seriously. It's a damned bloody story.

Samura is the Manga God--I have every issue of Blade. The way he does hands and feet alone is enough to make me gasp in awe. I even started a BOI fic many years ago.

I don't know what section you are reading, but when you run across a fellow called Shira, be prepared. Strong stomach is an absolute prerequisite.

I've got that site bookmarked. I've got the Dark Horse graphics up to Number 3. Waldenbooks is sold out of 4. The manager, who had apparently is unfamiliar with people who like manga, swore to Gawd he'd get the whole line in for me just as long as I quietly left the store.

Hey KM only recently discovered your interest in the world of anime/manga etc etc etc.

Being a writer type, have you ever considered fan fic writing? It can be lightweight and really amusing actually.

Just curious. I have a few friends rabidly obsessed with fan fics actually. They like seeing how one setting gets twisted and put into all sorts of unusual story lines.

The most memorable one I have read (I don't read a lot admittedly) was a story combining Sailormoon and Star Trek (yes it was interesting).

I, being the insane and twisted little boy I am, decided to do somehting utterly wrong.

Ryouga Hibiki, only man who can travel from Japan, to Alaska, and never touch water, happens to get lost, all the time. He can only jump through odd impissibilities when he runs randomly, correct?

Imagine Ryouga stuck in a videogame dimension, playing the first Nintendo version of Kirby, with Kirby.

Yes I know, I'm a sick man... but that was my fanfic that I never finished... and it was amusing while it lasted.
