Picking your Category

I'm curious as to how this might be the case for those whom have labeled their stories Novel/Novella.

Posting as a Novel generally means not many people will read it. Your fans, yes. If it's a contest entry it may grab eyeballs. But if you want views, want people to see what you've written, go for a more-read category. To be REALLY ignored, post a poem or How-2 or essay.

Some categories are very accepting of minor squicks. I've put minor incidents of 'trump' fetishes in Group Sex and Mature as well as Incest. But I avoid Novel/Novella unless a story is so all-over-the-place that it can't be squeezed in elsewhere.
