pic problems

I am new to Lit and want to upload either a pic or something from the internet. At this point I dont care. I have carved down the selection to below the minimum requirements, but when I put in save changes it says upload failed. Am stumped, any help?

Is it an acceptable file type? The image size may be within the requirements, but is the file size too large for an attachment? Have you already uploaded an attachment with the same name? Does your image follow Lit's Image Posting rules?

If you haven't done so already, read through the pertinent instructions in our FAQ sticky to see where you might be going wrong. As long as the image follows Lit's rules, you can hotlink it, which will allow you to avoid the image size issue. There are detailed instructions on hotlinking images in the FAQ sticky.
