Its possible he just got tired of the noise here, and is okay. If not, then that's too bad. Just because I don't agree with someone's beliefs or posts doesn't mean I wish them ill.

KeithD-who went by Srplt71 for many years-was pretty much an every day poster here and the AH, hasn't been heard from in several weeks, and when he was here mentioned severe back issues that required surgery and he could no longer drive. He's pushing 80 so, again, hopefully just has more important things to do-like get better-than hang around here, but its never a good sign.

Before the PB, when the old crowd here all hung out in the general board-and discussed things other than politics-there was someone else before BB that had a legion of alts, and every new person was accused of being them, but now I can't think of the 'core' account name. This was back in 2010/11.

Maybe Vetteman? Not sure if I spelled it right.

It'll come to me in the middle of the night, then I'll forget again by morning.

A great thing about Phro, he was arguably the only one besides you who could put the slipping sanity screws to AJ and Matlock without even half trying. Gotta dap that swagger.

still sometimes life happens and peeps gotta either take a break to fix stuff or bug out. Here's hoping his absence is a voluntary one for reasons and not the final sayonara.

2010-2011 was the rise and fall of "perky 27 year old law student Karen Kraft"..."she" drove most of the articulate women away from this board, and later was exposed as a 60-something obese lawyer-"movie producer" who actually hired a c-list actress to portray "her" in videos on here.

After 2011, it was mostly Que/Conager and Busybody were essentially minting a new userid each day.

The absolute best "alt story" from this period was when AJ got his current userid (I think that one was Cap'n Amatrixca) nuked by Laurel for making underage sex jokes (poor AJ just couldn't help himself). He had a new userid ginned up by lunchtime, and joined in right where he left off. Rightguide (then piloting "Vetteman") ripped the new AJ a new one, and AJ was spluttering "you dumb shit! It's me! ME!" (AJ and Vetteman both bonded over their fascination with submissive Asian women who didn't charge an arm and a leg for a hug and a tug).
