I found this over at ebaumsworld... they've manipulated photos of celebrities, to see what they would look like if they gained 100 pounds.

First up: Jennifer Love-Hewitt.

And finally, my personal favourite: how Calista Flockheart would look if she gained 100 pounds!

I think the entire purpose of the fat women was to reveal the punchline: Calista Flockhart.

I used to feel nervous watching anything she was on, as if her neck might not be able to support the weight of her head and could just snap at any moment.

I think these are brilliant. The "normal" people start to look malnourished after seeing a few of them.

Thought provoking.

Thanks for those, SF.

Flicka, that really was thought provoking. The less extreme (vs. the Paltrow one) make one think. I still remember a lonely, sad fat girl in grammar school; ever since I have not thought it funny to make fun of overweight people. I myself was very skinny as a girl and hated people always saying I looked like a bird. Of course I do not hesitate to think less of myself now when I "feel" fat.

It would be interesting if someone used those photos to make the women look healthier, or only 'normally' overweight.

gracias, P.

OMG! You mean they have technology that can manipulate a picture? I have never heard of such a thing.

I could think of better ways to waste my time than making them fat!

Nevermind, If you don't like my comment just refer back to what rhino said.

Thanks rhino,

Here, would you like a shovel you can dig faster with it.:D

I was just thinking that with rare exception, a lot of them would have actually looked damn fine if the'd have added 50 lb instead.

CZJ looked perfect as she was- as did liz hurly, and J.Low- but those are the ones with the curvy figures to start.

I'm a journalist. I'm trained to fix pics like those of the fat celebrities.

Are you saying the heavy pics are what they really look like? ;)
