Ok...I downlaoded photoshop off of Kazaa.....the files are clean etc etc......The thing says its 160,000 kb....thats 16 megabytes right?

How big is your Photoshop proggie if you have it....cuz I unzipped this thing and all I seen to have is all the read me files and background drivers and whatever ( Not a comp lingo guru)...I cant seem to activate the actual program....any suggestions.....

Help!!

David

A 160, 000 kb is a 160 Mb.

Look for the .exe file for set up. If you don't have that you're screwed. I'm not sure about PS 7.0 but you may also need a CD Key or Product key to activate the software. Can't be anymore help than that because I've never installed that program

One of these days, I'd like to learn how to Photoshop.

When I'm able to mail your Xmas present I'll include burns of Photoshop 6.0 and PSP 7.0.

Personally, I use PSP about 99.9% of the time. It doesn't suck up system resources like Photoshop does and I personally think it's a hell of a lot more intuitive and simple to learn.

Plus, I'll throw in free PSP tutorials. *wink wink*

You're so good to me, Nora.

Will you show me how to organize my recipes too?

paper or 'puter?

(and I could be better to you *leeers*)

Mine is 240 MB but that's including image ready.

The actual app is 53.9 Megs

The plug-ins folder is 57 megs.

Course, mine is accomodating a wacom tablet and is Carbonized.

Oh. And money exchanged hands for it.

Curious. I just visited Adobe's page and they say PS 7.0 eval is 162.4 MB or 166,000 kb.

Ok....I will look for the .exe file......and if I have 160 megs somethings in here somewhere. There is a file with the product ket and serial number deal it says to cut and paste it in the registration box.

what is PSP Nora......

and I scanned this entire thing and I know there no virus...

Thanks .....

Did you get an installer or just a prog folder?

Just because it's common in this threads, I'll say it

"No way, Photoshop is proprietary! I use the GIMP! FREE DIMITIRI!

Linux gives me a hardon and when I burp it smells like burritos"

and when those things are said. I will laugh.

Computer, and stop teasing me. You know the position of Nursemaid is still available. All you have to do is stop bitching and moaning about the low (ok, no) salary and benefits.

Keep your eye on the perks, baby. ;-)

the virus only has to be 28k in a zipped file
I agree with the ray of sunshine. :)
Kazaa sucked as far as I am concerned with viruses and lovely little porn files it sneaked into my system after I downloaded it.
And used it for a very short time.

If you do a search on kazaa you will find some interesting
info.

I have heard others say here at lit that there is kazaa lite that is better.

*drools* are we calling them "perks" today? Cuz I always called what I had my eye on...well, something else. *waggles brows*

As for organizing recipes, well...For mine they're divided into um..(sec, opening folder) Here...a pic is worth 1,000 words. (and the screen cap is courtesy of PSP so it even stays on topic!

(and yes, that is a recipe for homemade corn syrup on the bottom. They don't sell it in Australia/New Zealand and a friend was trying to make homemade marshmallow fluff...all the recipes called for it. We ended up just using golden syrup though.)

I think the files are transfered from person to person through the same servers....if that matters or not I dont know.......I scan the heck out of everything....Im clean.

Even if they dont go through a server the viruses are still going to be a problem no matter what place you use....I use three different places........filetopia...winmx...and kazaa.....
