Hey ladies, I'm an aspiring photographer, living in Las Vegas, who is just recently diving into the art form, and I'm always looking for people to do practice shooting with. I already have a male model, but my female model is going to be out of town for a few months, so I need someone to fill this role in the meantime.
This is a non-paying arrangement, with the compensation being the practice that comes from the shooting, and the ability for both photographer and model to be able to fill out their respective portfolios. That said, this would be an ideal arrangement for an aspiring model or actress. I would get practice shooting, and you would get free head shots.
I'm looking to start with basic portrait shots, and move toward the mildly erotic. I feel it's important to emphasize that when I say "erotic", that this arrangement will NOT call for nudity. I'd rather portray sexuality in photos without having to resort to that. We may attempt some lingerie shots if you feel comfortable doing so, but NO NUDITY.
In terms of what I'm looking for in appearance (the idea is to create aesthetically pleasing imagery, after all), I am NOT looking for the typical tall, too-skinny model type. Someone who is slender but curvy, with a girl-next-door appearance is what I'm looking to work with. I'm looking for the everyday female, not pop culture's idealized image. Everybody shoots that; I'd rather create interesting, sexy imagery with a model who has a more down-to-earth look.
