I do not see this posted, and hope I am not breaking any rules. I am a hobbyist photographer. I travel for my day job and like to work with aspiring or unknown models in the places I visit. I am on a site specific to that, but it is difficult to find models. I have a couple of international clients I sell my work to, so models are paid.

My question is does anyone have a recommendation as to where I can post looking for models? I am happy to shae more information and my upcoming travel schedule if anyone is interested (and or am allowed to do so). Thanks for any help you can provide.

that's a good question. I like taking photos too. What about Instagram? There are many pretty women. Also I often check stock photos to find cool pics and ideas for my photos. I just found katy perry images in depositphotos, their stock photos, videos and music library are exactly what I need for my projects. Now it is my fav stock photo site where I can download royalty-free images

Going to say that if you are looking for real models, I’d go through some sort of agency. If you are someone local you could set up an Instagram account or Facebook page and try and build a following. Once you have people who like your work, you can ask people if they’d like to volunteer to do a shoot.

Thank you both. I am always in different cities. I use IG, but it is hard to reach out to people without them thinking you are a scam artist or something. I have work posted, but not a lot because most models I work with are paid and their images released to them for the OF and sold to private collectors in Asia. I have worked with agencies, but my clients want "the American girl next door". It's hard, and I understand women should be extra cautious. Just wanted some thoughts. I really appreciate the responses.

Models and photographers collaborate for free on these kinds of shoot. It's called "TFP", Time for Photos. The model provides the time and the photographer provides the photos. Then you can both use the photos for your own purposes.
