Is anyone else having problems getting it to load? (IE, is my sig picture showing up for you?)

I can't get the site to load and my sig pic isn't showing up either.

I can see your sig picture.

But I've been having random problems with pictures all day.

I can't load photobucket at all. I'm not liking this. Especially since I couldn't get that site that Trom had to load either. I wonder if there's some main network issue somewhere that's causing user issues.

Wish I could help. Maybe some of the techie types here can offer up an idea.

When I try to go to photobucket's site, I get redirected to a page for at space (a web hosting company)... both on Firefox and IE. I thought Firefox didn't do redirects? (At first, I was getting a server timed out page, now it's redirecting).

Okay, it gets weirder. Still get redirected when I try to go to photobucket's website... but now my sig pictures are showing up again.

I just signed on to photobucket, no problem.

Well that's totally weird. I get redirected both on my laptop and my desktop, so I know it's not a browser hi-jack of some sort. (and my sig pics are not showing up again.)

It could be a temporary DNS hijack. Wait a day and see what happens.

I can get to Photobucket and I see your sig pics. Could you be spelling the web addy wrong?

Nope, not spelling it wrong. It does the same thing from a link clicked on google. (besides, that wouldn't explain the missing sig pics which have been there previously)

I've gotten three separate sites now on redirect, but they all seem to be from the same company.

If it was a DNS attack, why wouldn't it affect everyone viewing?

Looks as if someone had hijacked a router somewhere between you and the sites you want to get too.

A DNS router/server stores the addresses of all the sites on the web...an attack on a DNS server/router could replace specific addresses or all of them. And until the list is refreshed from a back up source any attempt to get anywhere will be redirected.

Can you see your sig pic?

No, I can't see them. I did for a minute or two a few minutes ago, but then they vanished again.

Have you tried rebooting your modem, router, computer in that order?

No. I didn't think to do that since it's affecting both computers in the house. I'll do in a bit. One of the kids just started his turn on the big computer, so I'll wait until his turn is over to do that.

Let us know what happens. Good luck.

I canload my photobucket page.
I can't load that thing of Trom's.
I've been getting random loading error messages on several sites I usually have no trouble with since yesterday.
I use Firefox.
