Well, it's not really a story; it's more of a "scene." It's a good scene, don't get me wrong, and I like it. But you need to embed it into a story if you want it to get any traction.

What is a "story," then? For one thing, it needs a beginning, a middle, and an end. For another, it needs conflict, which somehow (happily or unhappily) gets resolved.

But it's definitely a good scene to grow a story around! I say go for it.....Carney
