How do you guys usually make the phone calls? I know that a lot of people are concerned with annonimity and don't want to either give out numbers or have calls show up on caller ID.

A deep voice and a good connection makes it all worth the search. I must admit, I am a creature of habit and like having the same phone partner for ongoing amusement. Less time needed to get over the awkward intro, you know what gets them hot, they know what does it for you.

Many online chat services are available, which I suppose limit the need for phone bill discretion, but they always sound so ... digital. Also, people like myself who still live 5 miles north of nowhere, can't do voice chat. Dialup doesn't have the bandwidth.

Calling cards can eliminate the need for "hiding the bill" but I'm not sure how you get around not wanting to give out your number.
