Approval is only for 16 and older. 12- to 15-year-olds can be vaccinated under the emergency use authorization. Children under 12 cannot yet be vaccinated.
So be sure to wear a mask any time you’re near children, to protect them.

I just saw an interview with a 35 year old athletic healthy guy who rarely even got a cold so he figured he could do without the vaccine, until Covid kicked his ass.
He survived after heroic efforts by our healthcare workers.
