This is somewhat of an innocuous thread so I wouldn't be surprized if it died pretty quickly...

Anyway I was just wondering about what kind of pets people have here? I sort of have a prediction about this and I want to see if I'm right.

I personally have two cats who can snuggle better than most men I've known

I have Larger caged animals...
they range from a 3 foot hognose snake(almost full grown) to a 6 foot burmese python(15+feet full grown)
there are pics somewhere in Lit...
I do have rats & mice too but they are bred for snake food. (sorry)

I have one dog, 3 cats. Oh, and a 16 yr old daughter and a 2 month old daughter.

I have also owned in the past, a ferrit, several million gineapigs (they breed FAST!), and a couple of bunnies.

I have two doggies back home in the UK...need to wait til I get a bigger place before I can bring them over...
Zindzi, my chocolate lab, is insane but I love her...she looks a little stoned in the picture but she's a darling the rest of the time
And Sam, my golden lab, is getting old now but he's just so lovable

he got cancer and we had to put him down
he was like 16 though, not bad for a cat

I have a cat. She's a little over a year old. Her name is Seba. I call her the cat without fear. She literally has no fear at all. She takes jumps and does things that my other cats wouldn't have done.

I've had a couple of rats too.
Basically I like all animals except cats and insects. I would never hurt a cat I just don't like them.
I try not to hurt insect's but sometimes it can't be helped. I.e. spider on the wall and I'm not going to touch it so I use the Hoover but if I'm able to then I'll use a glass and a piece of paper and throw it out the window.

This is Zeus. 2 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Whenever he wants attention, he tends to pout. Also, you can see where the breed gets the name.

He's spoiled rotten. I miss him alot when I'm out here at school. He's my big baby. Hehe.

due to various deaths the household is down to:

1 Dalmation, 1 cat, 2 gerbils and a fish.

In the last couple years we've lost a cat, a rabbit, a frog and numerous fish. What hurts is everything left but the cat is at an age where death can be anytime, he cat should be around for another 5-7 years.

2 siamese cats here...and to answer your next ? they are not mean. its all in the breading, like any disposition

2 Siamese cats here also - a seal point, and a red (flame) point. Other than occasionally getting a little grouchy with each other, they've got the greatest dispositions I've ever seen in any other pets.

Everyone else's pets are *so* beautiful...thanks for sharing!

Bit on the goofy side, but always makes me smile
Have included the original shot and the 'edited' one...and for the curious, they're wearing home-made doggie rain blankets (basically towels stitched up the front) to stop 'em shaking mud and rain everywhere when they come in from outside
