Well, after someone ws discussing naming a pet a few weeks ago and something on the Author's board, I thought about the names of my critters. I've had a lot of them.

Bonehead (dalmatian)
Bullwinkle (Chihuahua-yeti)
Rocky (dalmatian)
Godzilla (kitten)
Joe (cat-female)
Ratchet (ferret)
Kenai (beagle)
Nanny Boo Boo (Mackenzie River Husky she ate a flight of stairs)
Nidget (ferret)
Clio (she was a pit bull)
Phooey (cat)
Phuzzbutt (cat)
Immaculate Conception (the male hamster we discovered living in our home unbeknownst to us)
The Flying Britches of Thunder (the female hamster who kept getting knocked up)
The Brain Damaged aka Brain Dead (NEVER get a greyhound/pointer mix)

Most of them died of old age, the Brain Damaged lives on a ranch, and two of the cats were victims of the landlord No CATS! thing.

*sigh*

Oh! I thought you meant petnames for pets. lol

Revised

Finnegan(lab mutt)
Meisha(coon mutt)
Bilbo Baggins(cat)
Fred(kitten)
Fidget(ferret)

Bear(husky/shepard)
Smokey(silver shappard)

Okay, first, there was Bobby.. (a beautiful golden lab, who used to pounce on me when I was just a little girl, and he didn't mean to, but he kept hurting me. We sent him to live with friends).

Then there was Joey (I have no idea what he was, except that he was a terror! Ripped through our pantry doors, ripped a corner off of an old teacher's desk, and ran right through a screen door).

Then there was Billy. Cockerspaniel. (what a fantastic, stupid dog. He was the dumbest animal I've ever had, but he was so sweet... very kind, gentle dog. He never barked.)

Then there were the kittens.
Tigger (who lives with the ex)
Chester (who lived with the ex, but then ran away and was never seen again).

Now there are my honey's puppies...
Mitzi- the mom
Schnitzel and Brutus, her puppies. They're miniature daschunds.

Wow! I think that's great -- there's something about rescuing cats that I'm always drawn to.

Well, like most people I had the arena of childhood cats and hamsters, fish, etc.

But right now, my best bud is my big ol' tabby boy I've had for nine years.

His name is Studley. :D

Louise (classic tabby, female)
Thelma (tortise shell, female)
Lilly (fuzzy butted long hair tabby, female)
Caliby (calico-tabby, female)
Sugar (siamese, female)
Miracle Max (long hair chocolate tuxedo heathen, male)

And the best of them all, mah beebee:

Sandy (champage tabby, lover cat extraordinaire, male)

Chipper (orange Tabby cat, male, cool as dirt)

Zues (Shepard/Huskey mix, most obident dog I've ever seen)

Chyenne (shepard, always hyper)

Shenna (Yorkie/Lasso Apso mix, aka "Spaz", one of the cutest dog I've seen, sleeping beside me as I type this)

Flex (Black and white kitty, retarded as hell, takes after his owner (myself), currently sleeping in the next room, spread out on his back all four paws up in the air)

These cover all my family memebers pets as well as mine:

Sparlke- beagle
Gabe- shepard/spaniel
Henrietta- Hereford
Jenifer- Hereford/Jersey
Ed- ox
Cat- cat
Grunt- cat
Hoover(Dustbag for Short)- black lab mutt
Jackson- golden retriever
Kirby- golden retriever
Snowball- rabbit
Bunbun- rabbit
Pig- rabbit
unnamed poodle/beagle
J.P.- cat
Chief- rabbit

They are in sort of chronological order. Kirby, chief, and J.P. are still around.

Humm, this is a test of the old memory tonight:

With us now -

Jenny (aka squeeker, rescued b & w kitty who can't meow)
Laurie (tabby cat with double front thumbs)
Chunky Butt (bearded dragon)
Killer (leopard spotted gecko)
Crazy 1 (green anole)
Crazy 2 (green anole)

Those not with us -

Cutie (baby bearded dragon)
Dale Jr. (leopard gecko)
Dale Sr. (leopard gecko)
Girls (tabby kitty)
Minnie (black kitty)
Bertie (budgie)
Angus (orange angora kitty)
Betsy (Heinz 57 dog)
Peter (cocker spaniel)
Topsy (arabian pony)
King (quarter horse)
angel fish, tiger sharks and pygmie frogs

and I'm sure I'm forgetting others along the way.

I've only had one animal ever, which probably explains the bizarro name. She was nameless for about three weeks until she managed to jump on top of a 1000-page stack of research I had to sift through that weekend, and spread the pages all around my living room.

So, I was forced to name my sweet, 8 pound little black lovemuffin kitty, Diablo.

The only pets I've had were 2 cats and some nameless fish.

The cats were/are Columbus, he's long gone :( and Tiger Lily, she's my sweetiecat now.

Here's her mysterious, anonymous internet picture. Heh

Why do pets have to be named goofy things.

two of my pets' names: Dave & Frank
