pet animal lover too
I'm 22 and a former pet "lover" but haven't for some time due to my not owning a pet. Would love to talk about it and bring back the memories as well as work my way back into aquiring a new special lover to fulfill all that I desire. Anyone out there with a dog write to me I'd love to talk.

Even if that's true...
...which I haven't seen confirmed, dogs are a lot like kids, it's how you raise them. Incidently, in what context are those statistics taken? What are the circumstances in which the attacks take place? I would hazard to guess that the majority of attacks are from either guard dogs, mistreated or mistrained dogs or the victims had been instigating the dogs. Makes all the difference in the world when put into perspective.
Of course, you don't get to see all the times that dogs of any breed actually help people, do you?
Statistics can always show you what you want to see but not necessarily the way things really are. Every stat you show me can be easily reversed to show something of opposite meaning. Just watch politics for awhile and see how easily we the public are manipulated on a daily basis by stats.
