Did any other UKers experience an amazingly intense hailstorm yesterday evening? For a while, it wasn't clear what the noise was, and we wondered if the entire percussion section of the London Philharmonic Orchestra had set up outside for an impromptu practice. It would have been painful to be out in it. Some might have said that it beat down so hard it makes your head bleed; certainly some sort of hat would probably have been in order.
