A true milestone in Lit history is at hand: the dethroning of the GB as the most popular of the site's boards. This is probably going to take place in the next 24 hours.

At this typing, there have been 14,848,078 posts made on the GB, and 14,847,650 made on Personals, the majority of which are of course Playground posts, where apparently the counting of even numbers is now somewhere between 2 and 29,695,300.

I propose we accept our fate in the same way the British accepted their dethroning as the world's leading power: get drunk and start rock n' roll bands.
