Personally I'm fine with the 32 year age gap...

...between me and Emma Watson..

I hope she's not all weird about it like my 17 y/o son was when I tried to tell him it was perfectly healthy for a 50 y/o to lust after children

doesn't work for me

But Joe, I thought you were only 49?
Yes I am. I rounded it up. Don't worry, you still have a year before it would get sick for us to shag

Welll, that's certainly put me in an odd position.

Immediately following the release of the first Harry Potter movie (when Watson's hair was youthfully wild and curly-tangled?) my daughter dressed as Hermione for Halloween.

I made her the sweater vest/white shirt/tie, bought the Hogwarts cloak, etc. She bore a striking resemblance to Ms. Watson.

Granted, she was just 8 at the time, but this thread gives me a certain "ick" feeling now, dearest Joe.

William Holden (53) was only 33 years older than Kay Lenz (20) in the 1973 film Breezy. Unfortunately, both times I tried to watch the movie, I fell asleep...so I can't say if it worked out or not. I'd like to think it did, and they're living happily together to this day in that sweet glass house in the Hollywood hills, their love growing as every golden sunrise brings the ratio of their years closer to a beautiful singularity.

I get that feeling the whole time. I've learnt to embrace the ick.

Oh.

Well, I have a devil of a time getting the ick out of my hair.

Why does this remind me of when a 16 yo sex offender sang "Oh, Sheila" to me?
must be the ick-factor..
Nothing is creepier than a group of sex offenders singing about wanting to "love me 'til the morning comes.."
I quickly had the song banned from the unit.

How about a thread where the woman is 32 years older than the man?

Robert Devereux, the second Earl of Essex (b. 1567) was probably around 20 when he first climbed into the sack with the 50-something Elizabeth I (b. 1533).

After having her way with the lad, she had him executed for treason in 1601. God save the Queen.

Helen Mirren was brilliant, by the way, in the 2-part TV mini-series Elizabeth I (no disrespect to the lovely Cate Blanchett, who also did a fine job portraying the Queen in the 1998 film, but Mirren played Elizabeth to perfection; she set the bar very high with that performance).

Well lets see here..... I was (18) according to Lit rules and she was 45.... I know it's only 30 years but it's close to 32....:D

But as Hermione, Emma Watson is portraying a mature, sensible individual far older than her years.

Wait until the last book appears. Hermione will be revealed as a time-turner who has really been over 100 years old all the time and was only pretending to be a teenager to thwart you-know-who...

OK, I'll probably be proved wrong in the next few days, but you read it here first.

I'd still do her

Nice airbrushed photo!! Makes her look at least 5 years older rhan she is!

She's trying the glam bit in all the papers at the moment. I saw one photo where she was sitting in a seductive pose wearing a pear of "fuck-me" high heels. She looked to me like when kids play dress-up with Mummy's clothes.
