I noticed a rather odd personalized license plate yesterday. A lot of people combine their initials with their spouses. Or they were just trying to sneak a naughty one past the censors (and why wasn't it caught?). Perhaps they just can't spell...

It made me look twice.

I don't recall what the plate was exactly, but I once encountered a personalized plate that made no sense at all until you looked at it in a mirror. The DMV that issued it wouldn't have had any reason to reject it, but in a rear-view mirror, it was downright rude. :p

I've never seen the point in the extra expense, but if somebody forced me to get a personalized plate, I'd use my phone number -- just to confuse motel clerks, service writers, and other people with forms that ask for both phone and license number. :p

I saw one this morning MRSCBT

Didn't get a good look at teh driver but it really makes one wonder.......

When I first moved to Florida fifteen years ago, there was a newspaper story about a vanity plate had been sold to someone as ordered - and then recalled when somebody saw it in traffic and complained.

It was one of the commemorative tags issued in Florida with a picture of the space shuttle Challenger. It read:

KABOOM

I often wonder what people are thinking. Would you really drive around with CATBOX?

or

3M TA3

Confused? Hold up a mirror.

It says

EAT ME

in a rear view mirror. :D

On the van of an Exterminator.
