What songs descripe you??

Mine would probaly be, from a personal point of view.

"Creep" by Radiohead.

Hm, that's a really difficult choice. Only one single song?? Damn Xan, how can you do this to me??;)

Honestly, a blues solo Samantha describes me. Deep, soulful and meloncholy, but with an underlying hope for the future.

I'd like to think that it's "She's a Lady" or "Sexbomb", both sung by Tom Jones, but "Witchy Woman" is proably more apropo for me. :) :p

Another that descripes me pretty good is:

"Shout 2000" by Disturbed.

A COUPLE OF MY SONGS

"We're Turning Again" by Frank Zappa

"Working For A Living" by Huey Lewis

Songs typically describe my moods, rather than describing the whole of me.

I have no clue.. There is no one song that describes me.

Can anyone here think of a song that would describe me?

I can't think of any.

Impossible Dream from The Man of LaMancha

...always fighting windmills...

There some who say The Scarcrow's song from the "Wizard of Oz", and then there others the insist that People Are Strange by the Doors is a better choice.

Personally, I think that Take it Easy by The Eagles comes pretty close.

Kick It!

"Patience" by GnR

"Kickstart My Heart" by the CRUE!!!

*whispers*
ummm...Samurai? Take It Easy is a Jackson Browne tune

Across the Universe

The White Album..."Nothing's gonna change my world"...

If I wuz stuck on an island and could have only one song, it would be "I can't Live" (or is it called Without You), written by Bad Finger and performed by Harry Nilsson

Take It Easy was written by Jackson Browne for Glenn Frey and the first Eagles album

Ooh, the Eagles:cool:

Perhaps

But Jackson included it on his second album "For Everyman" released in Feb 1973.

Whoops..that was Oct 1973

I would have to say

No Doubt's " just a girl " with a sprinkle of Faith Hill's " she's a wild one ".

That is me.... :)

Hmm.. there are several different songs, depending on the mood I'm in:

Partying Mood: "Jump Around" - House of Pain
Most other moods: "The Sickness" - Disturbed
Bad Mood: "The Thing That Should Not Be" - Metallica
Romantic Mood: "Nothing Else Matters" - Same
Depressed: "Who Wants to Live Forever" - Queen

Oh God, celia..that is an absolutely gorgeous piece of music! I've played it before. I've always wanted to play it again, because I was younger when I performed it, and I don't think I gave it the full due it deserved. I want another shot at giving it the soul I know I can.

Now...as for me. I know there's no one song that describes me, so I'll grab a couple. The mood and playfulness of "Killer Joe" works for me. I once said that if I could have a theme song, it would be that one. But it doesn't have words. So, for one with words, I'd love to think that "Hoochie Coochie Man" works for me. :)

A few more

"Blue Collar Man" and "The Great White Hope" by Styx.
