Personal grovelling in threads

I didn't say I didn't like hijacking! What I meant was the kind of slavish groveling exchanged between two people who are already partners. In my opinion, it's like having cybersex in the middle of a serious discussion thread.

But this is the cafe, and I'm already over my major issue that started this thread.

Anyway, the two hour premiere of Stargate Atlantis is about to start, so I'm going to turn the phone line over to my girlfriend for a while. (The rule at our house is, whoever doesn't have the net access gets to choose what's on TV!)

I wish I'd seen that before, I would have tossed a tape in the VCR for you. I'm sure they'll be reairing it. It's the new spinoff of Stargate (obviously), set in another galaxy.

so does that mean we hijackers can turn this into a 'how-to' personal groveling thread?? Or a 'looking for a groveling partner' thread?

For now, I'll just stick to getting off-topic with some philosophical discussion of my personal feelings about personal groveling in general. I Love to grovel with or toward my partner, but he won't let me so far. No whining. Now you know That's hard. And he just hasn't developed a taste for groveling but I'll keep working on it...

Eeeeek, I am blushing furiously now. Thank you. Those have been there for as long as I can remember, and I hope the dermatologist doesn't say they have to come off! (I saw her a couple of weeks ago and she didn't comment, so I guess they're okay.)
