I think it has alot to do with one naked man not wanting to be that close to another naked man. Even if neither guy is bi they may still feel uncomfortable being naked around each other. Not to mention that some men are self conscious about their size. And some men dont like the idea that their woman could find pleasure with another man.

I think it comes down to a different type of dynamic between men and women. For instance, I once spoke to a couple who had been to a couple of swinger's clubs. Couples and single women were allowed into all areas, single men were only allowed access to a certain point. After that, they had to be invited to join a couple or woman in the other areas.
Why?
Seems there were way more single men than women, and the men who were there seemed (at least to the woman I spoke with) to be "desperate". If a woman is going to be in a MMF, she certainly doesn't want to feel as though she is simply being used as a place to deposit sperm. (I've had an MMF where this was the case - ICK!) And most single men, I do believe without meaning to, come across this way.
However, with single women, because there are so few (in comparison to single men), they can be more selective. I think this makes the couple feel as though she is "safer" to get involved with. (Though there are horror stories, certainly!)
There are couples who are looking for single men, however. It comes down to how you present yourself and what you are looking for.

My SO is just fine with another girl in our bed, but doesn't want another man. Why? Cus he figures I'm more apt to leave him for a man than another woman. He would rather it just be something sexual, but he thinks that I'm incapable of fucking another man and remaining head over heels in love with HIM (my SO).
Silly. It bugs me, cus it's a double standard. I'm bi, I've loved BOTH men and women, and he knows it, yet he still keeps that rule. And it's not about a guy being better in bed than him, cus for god's sake, honey's the best I've ever had, AND he's huge!

That makes sense. I could never actually pinpoint the reason that most men were adamantly against it

Interesting topics for sure, although I guess if I was with a girl I'd feel uncomfortable about sharing her with a single guy too. And I can understand why a girl would feel like she's just a "place to deposit sperm", as you so eloquently put it. It'd be much better if it was her fantasy and if the parties involved wanted to make her feel good and cum and so forth as opposed to something else.
Something about a woman's face and voice when she's orgasming, I don't know why more guys don't try harder to please their girls.
