So, my girlfriend and I have hit a rough patch in our sex life. She just doesn't have the drive anymore, like at ALL. She said that if she ever got like this she'd be ok with me finding a playmate since she knows I just NEED it. Long story short, she gave me the ok to find a playmate, but I unfortunately don't have one yet! I'm hoping some of the lovely ladies on Lit could help me with that? I'm 23, male, in he Boston area and have the next few days off.

I'm going to assume she's close to your age? Some women just have low sex drives. But to have completely lost any interest in it at such a young age, I wonder if there might be more to it.
Have you spoken to a Doctor? Her Gyno is probably preferable to a general practitioner, though either is a good place to start. Counsiling may also be a good idea to look into as well.
There are many different issues that could cause her lack of desire.

Even though shes given you the ok to find a playmate now, the knowledge that shes unable to fill your needs herself could cause emotional problems down the road.
A healthy sex life is important in any relationship, I hope you exhaust all your options before looking elsewhere.

maybe she is looking elsewhere..maybe the problem isn't with her..maybe she feels something is going on with you..or maybe she is trying the females around your neck of the woods..are you guys romancing your women..we love that..spontaneous moments...do you ever really talk to your women about what they like and dislike..maybe they would like to go on a picnic...seems like when you are dating it's all well and good..then you move in together and you don't have time for intimacy..picnic's..showers together..playin in the water at the beach...i'm 53..he is 45..i miss the romantic he used to be..have only been married for 13yrs and i'm already having to look for a much younger guy to romance me...make me feel special..gone thru menopause,,fixed , horny and wet all the time...hampton virginia ..way too far from ya'll dang

Have talked to her about it.

I do my best to surprise and romance her.

Often asking her what she wants, what she likes. Told her I'm willing to try anything and everything in bed she ever wants to.

We do have sex sometimes, and its often very good... It's just that she isn't often interested (doesn't feel like it, headache, something else ache, feels too self conscious... bed makes too much noise etc...)

It's just a low sex drive and i just wish i could turn it back up a bit.
