With the recent interest around the forum in listening to poets/poetry, when the following showed up in my newfeed on Facebook, I thought I would bring it in and share it.

The version I saw was a clip from Queen Latifah's talkshow, but this is from the actual finals of Brave New Voices.

I, personally, don't really write poetry that touches on political and/or social messages all that often, but I thought this was something worth hearing/seeing and sharing.
