Aaargh! Why am I responding to this?

There are published studies about how humans respond to the shape of human bodies. There is a cross-cultural tendency for men to react to the narrow waist/wide hips silhouette of women, which is common to all of those silhouettes. There is also a cross-cultural tendency for women to respond to the wide shoulders/narrow hips form that I think of as typical of a healthy young man (hmm, is that your form?).

On the other hand, I expect that most men (and women) are attracted to the person that they are emotionally attached to and that has little to do with body shape.
