Perceptible Change...

When Trump is sworn in as president your life will change for the better or worse? Will it remain the same for the most part? Why?

He's already managed to make traffic worse.

It's clearly his fault there is a traffic jam full of crybabies across this country.

It wouldn't have changed if Hillary had won.

;)

Of course, I might have gone on an ammo buying spree, maybe some new AR uppers...

I still might do the latter.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
Wall Street likes him; look at the numbers. Goldman Sachs still rules. We know for whom life will get better -- it won't be us. Money talks; the rest of us can walk.

Then why did they waste so much money on Hillary and the Foundation?

I don't foresee drastic changes that would negatively impact my life. Though, nothing truly positive either. Things will likely remain as they are. All that make America great stuff was just rhetoric. I feel bad for the people that were buying that.

If you happen to work for Trump, things will definitely change. He needs to divest and avoid conflicts of interest. His companies also have to stop marketing products made in China, because he has a promise to keep.

What do you suppose the "people that were buying that" will do when it finally sinks in that they've been duped?

According to him, his family will clean up all that mess. No trust needed. Smh

As a forrinner, unless he tanks the world economy or starts a global war, I'm at a safe enough distance.

I'm more screwed by Brexit. That's my neighbor's house on fire. You're further down the street.

Oh, it will, as you say, turn out a lot like the people that bought into hope and change; in this election, they did not turn out for more of the same...

;) ;)

Carter

Bush I
Clinton
Clinton
Bush II

Trump

And life goes on, moving on pretty much it's same trajectory. The more things change the more they stay the same.

No more free bags at the grocery store.

I bought one reusable bag and told the girl to just pitch the rest of my stuff in the cart.

Those dimes add up!

Well, if you're a white educated employed male making enough money to have a car, live in a good neighborhood, have some savings and so forth, your life is amongst the most secure in the world.

Cancer is probably a bigger threat to you than Trump or Clinton.

As you know, cancer on the GB is an epidemic.

Actually the problem is that change is usually slow. New laws regarding the economy take a while to really make a difference. Reagan and Clintons policies are still having an affect. If he is a one term guy I wont worry so much. It also seems that most of the time the congress is too busy arguing within its own body to accomplish much.

So it should be no worse than a Clinton presidency right?

It's a conspiracy!! They MADE her take all that money so it would look bad later and get Trump in office!!!

LMFAO.

It's good to be very rich and it'll get better. Everyone else will pay more after current programs are dismantled. The only way to square his proposals is to assume massive debt for future generations to pay off. But the Chinese won't be buying many gov't bonds if we're waging a trade war. That leaves printing money. Cue the hyperinflation.

BTW I've never voted for any Clinton or their clique and I didn't start now. I did not look forward to a Clinton presidency. But I think a Tromp presidency will be worse.
