I'm talking Adhd, autism etc. I have adult ADHD without being treated, no help for it but I assume it affects my sexual interests. Or at some point it has. But to me I wonder if my disorder has to do with some of my kinks.

Like I have this whole ADHD thing but I also wonder if that added to my desire to share. Because I've shared a lot of my gfs. And I'm wondering if this is common, or if this is totally separate.

Adult ADHD here, untreated. Never 'shared' anyone. Would not. Not to knock your kink but just saying.

Neurodiversity is the current term. I have both Autism and ADHD so I am definitely on the spicy side. Does it effect my sexual preferences? Probably not, but I do tend to fall hard for neuro-spicy girls who are compatibly weird.

Considering the link between ADHD and impulse control in general, that self assessment makes sense.

I wonder how many people who frequent this place have some degree of ADHD?
Quite a few from what I've read in posts. But I still wouldn't call it mental illness.

It’s a mental health disorder.

A mental illness is a mental health condition that can lead to distress or problems functioning in a work/school, family or social setting. ADHD can impact all of those things. It’s treated like other mental illnesses with therapies and medications.

If it’s not mental illness, what is it?

High functioning anxiety and high functioning depressive here
Really fucks with my head but have to keep going 🙄🙄

Sometimes it's not the dictionary definition that matters, but the implications and perceptions in the general public's mind.
And I still say it comes off as rude.

I won't lie; I have a couple mental issues... Not sure they are illnesses... Definitely issues.

Undiagnosed BPD/trauma response disorder... Occasional depression, occasional mania... Possibly ADD... PTSD, etc...

I'm very sexual minded even after menopause.. And in my 20s I was a raging slut... No joke..

Mania causes some to act out promiscuously... As I can attest to..

All I know is... Aren't we all just a bit fucked up mentally?

Recovering alcoholic, recovering eating disorder sufferer, ADHD, possible autism. I don't know if any of that plays into my kinks but it definitely impacts my writing. I will sometimes "lock in" to a piece I'm working on and entirely lose track of time.

I’ve dealt with anxiety most of my life, and reading other people’s stories here really helps. Sometimes I need to step back and find outside support too. If you’re looking for resources or just want tools to cope better day to day, visit website — it’s been useful for me when I’m feeling stuck and need something concrete to work with.

I fully agree that patience plays a key role when your involved with someone who's mentally ill or on the spectrum..

I have bipolar 2, as well as I believe BPD.. And my calmness really is influenced by who I'm interacting with during the episodes...

A tip of advice be kind and don't let a disability make you mean and vengeful. Kindness is attractive regardless of the person. Being mean separates you from others.
