I wonder about the self esteem level of someone who spends a great deal of time either tearing other people down, or partaking in it in a passive way (like magazines, television, etc.).

I agree, like saying glands are the reason for obesity. Only a fraction of over weight people have glandular imbalance. Choice of clothing, ,makeup and even behaviour are ridiculed too.

I'm not sure if I know anyone who reads them, but I assume someone must read them, because there are new ones every month. The old ones are going somewhere.

Reading a magazine doesn't mean one agrees with everything in the magazine, but as a man who thinks stretch marks are sexy, if the checkout line is long enough, I'll always browse through the baby belly pictorials.

My own personal thoughts on this topic are.....l think you should think before you say anything, you have no idea what is going on in that persons life, words can seriously hurt! Maybe some people need to get what they are doing thrown back at them an just maybe they will see things differently! Myself I could never be so mean & heartless....
