The world according to Lisa Simpson:

Bart: When you're a baby you spend all day just rolling around on the floor. Boy, I miss that.
Nelson: Fine, roll around on the floor, baby! Floor baby! Floor baby!
Lisa: You're making fun of him for something you made him do.
Nelson: Yeah, well, you're gay.
Lisa: People who accuse others of being gay are often covering up their own latent homosexuality.
Nelson: Um eh... bullies rule!

True? Hmmmm.

Buford on Phineas and Ferb is a much more erudite and sophisticated bully.

Good morning, queers.

Coffee?

You can always tell a man by the way he drinks his coffee. A man who drinks with the handle facing towards him is obviously a Liberal. A man who drinks it with the spoon in the cup is obviously gay. A man who drinks without a cup is obviously mad!

There's obviously some sort of back-story here. I just can't find it. :(

Handle mostly on the right, sometimes on the left. No spoon.

Don't worry...he'll eventually show his ass in this thread. He spews gay insults like other people use pronouns.

I'm not a fan of homophobia. (I say this casually so that I don't get myself all worked up before I even know who is who and what is what in all this). It's kind of my soap box issue.

men calling each other gay generally has little to do with homophobia. it is our childish way of a three stooges smack on the back of the neck.

acting out violently due to another being gay is unacceptable unless it is a gay dude forcing you to be his sweetheart then it is self-defense.

Boys will be boys. *shrugs*

I have a problem with certain words and their usage. I'm tolerant of intolerance in that I understand, "You're gay," is an easy go-to in a battle of words, especially on this forum. But when the line is crossed, and one is able to brandish certain words or terms or stereotypes casually, and without second-thought, I think it's fair to say there's at least a streak of homophobia beneath the surface.

You can ruin your whole effing life being upset about insults. The trick is to grow thicker hide...like cops.

Thirty years ago a good friend talked to me about insults. He was burned as a child, and they used his ass to reconstruct his face. So he says to me, WHEN PEOPLE CALL ME 'ASS-FACE' I CANT DENY IT, CUZ ITS TRUE. BUT I AINT OBLIGATED TO LET WHAT THEY SAY RUIN MY DAY.

the term "that's gay or you're gay" is so commonly used it has lost much of its meaning.

the problem today is everybody runs around getting offended and demanding apologies. this is a symptom of the demands of political correctness which is just a grandiose term for being a pussy.

"But I don't want to go among gay people," Alice remarked.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all gay here. I'm gay. You're gay."

"How do you know I'm gay?" said Alice.

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Actors.

Real Gay is a 300 pound haystack with a vaginal infection.
