Your average middle-class worker has very little money left over after paying rent/bills to spend on whatever they want.

About 95% of their weekly paycheck goes towards paying insurance, rent/mortgage, utilities, gas, food, etc...

So let's elect more Republicans who want to tax middle class people more by "broadening the base"?

you made this shit up

broadening the base has NOTHING to do with tax increases on middle class

it has to do with taking peeps who aren't paying tax, become productive members of society and pay taxes

why the fuck would you lie?

The upper-class elites (like the people in Washington running our country) see the middle class as being inferior pests and should have to work extra hard and be paid less because of their inferiority and unfitness.

Read the works of 19th century philosopher Herbert Spencer and learn about the theory of "Social Darwinism" to get a better handle on this.

Capitalism = socio-economic eugenics and "survival of the fittest."

95%?..I don't think so. even with my low income and kids, I still manage to keep a good 30% of my check after paying bills. Not a lot, but better then 5%

Heaps of middle class people pay no income tax. A family of four with two kids in day care pays no tax. Broadening the base means hiking their taxes.

"Broadening the base has nothing to do with taxing people who aren't working or being productive since tax rate changes on zero income doesn't change anything.

No, it's true. Most families have very little to put in savings at the end of the month. Which is why a retirement system based around 401(k) alone will not work for millions of families and pensions do work.

Ask Vetteman what it would be like for a career military enlisted to live on retirement without their pension.

This explains the widening gap between the rich and poor throughout our society.

Hint: life isn't fair.
