John Harrigan remarried 2 years after his wife Joyce died in a automobile accident. Right after her death John had been a wreck. He started to drink to much and often took out the anger and sorrow on his only son. Jason was a sweet guy that tried everything to please his father. A task that was impossible most of the time. Jason had both love and hatred in his heart when it concerned the father.
Then one day John brought home a woman he introduced as Penny. He said that she was his girlfriend and would stay with them. Two years after Jasons mothers death John married Penny. The only thing that was good with the marriage in Jasons mind was that his father now show the gentleness that had been missing since his wifes death.
At the Harrigan house
She really pissed him of. She wasn't his mother damn it. She didn't even had the age to be his mom. He stormed of to his room after their latest argument. He threw himself on the bed and stared up at the ceiling. Why the hell had his dad needed to remarry? She didn't belong there. She could as much had been an older sister instead of a mother. He knew that his friends envied him but they did not know how it was living with her. That she caused his father to be more gentle and kind was also a thing he disliked. He sighed deeply as he took the head phones to his cd - player and started the rock music. For once the loud music did not calm his feelings.
