During a contest I had several of my stories pend with a 100 or more views before being posted! They finally posted, eventually!

I have a feeling that every time you go to your veiw submissions page, it counts as a view of the story This could certainly add to the confusion...

That's really weird Why would it take that many clicks to decide if your story met posting guidelines?

I have a feeling that every time you go to your veiw submissions page, it counts as a view of the story This could certainly add to the confusion...

I don't think it does -- for the longest time one of my pending stories had 2 views, but I'd checked the submission more than 2 times.

I dunno, I guess it just counts the "clicks" on the story and maybe the powers that be click on it more than once to check it or move it or determine what to do about it...it's mysterious.

My bunch has 2 views apiece, and still waiting... I submitted them nearly two weeks ago...

I have this sinking feeling that they're all going to be rejected, and then I'm going to cry. Big, dignified crocodile tears. Yep. That's what I'm going to do.

It's not just clicks, it's every time the bot's access the record in the database.

Tell her you are mortally afraid of the number 135 and to please post it before the views get there because seeing that will reduce you to a quivering shivering trembling foetal position in the darkest corner of your house. The one waiting for 2 weeks has 21 views, the one waiting 5 days has 6 views, and the one I submitted yesterday has no views. So I have no idea what's going on. I'll just wait until something goes up somewhere.

You'll make it. You're strong. Besides, this gives you time to write more since you aren't dealing with trolls yet

I'm still on hold for 3 submissions -- had to do some hoop jumping for one, and now starting the wait all over again for it.

It IS a little like knowing there's a fly in the room, isn't it?
