pending...

How long's it been?

It really varies. During contests it takes longer and it just so happens that the Earth Day Contest is upon us.

Could be as little as 5 days or as much as 2+ weeks.

I think it's been moving along fairly swiftly as of late, but there are no guarantees. It's kind of an antsy feeling before your baby sees the light of day, huh?

No worries. It'll be up before you know it. Let me know when it posts and I'll take a look at it.

sure thing. There's two, but one of them's a fetish one most people wouldn't be interested in.

another thing. I noticed that you can enter keywords when submitting a story. Is there any way to search other stories by key words?

Sure is.

Follow this link: Story Search

Good luck. And don't count a fetish story out before it's even posted. There are all kinds lurking here and we all have different ideas on what's arousing. You may be surprised at the number of people that can relate to and enjoy what you've written.

I haven't counted it out:p i know there's all sorts, hehe, myself included. That's why i wrote it. I'm a rookie at this site and with this sort of writing, but not a rookie with writing. Hopefully I'll get some good feedback here, especially if everyone's as nice as you:D

Actually, Lucky is known as an ass-stomping, take-no-prisoners, fire-breathing hellion around these parts. You must have caught her on a good day.

But seriously folks...

Welcome to Lit, on my behalf, at least. And never underestimate the appeal of fetish.

As to your question, I think the waiting time for a story is now up to about 5-7 days. Or, as a friend told me in 6th grade: "How Long is a Chinamen's name."

t_smurf, try out the Story Feedback Forum once your story is posted. Good feedback available there. Remember to give if you hope to receive. :)

dr_m: you're getting pretty good at answering The Question. :D

We have been wondering on the time thing as well as usually they are posted in 4-7 days and/or with a maximum of 6 views in our experience. What is puzzling us is we submitted a re-edit of one of our stories which has been on the top list for over a year(discovered after months we submitted the wrong one last time), and apart from fixing typos, the story is unchanged. So far it has been 5 days and had 12 views, and still is listed as pending. Any ideas?

Anyone care to try their hand at taming the hellion?

That's quite a tempting challenge to throw down, lady. :D

You know me!

Are you needing your ass stomped or are you stepping up to the plate?

I have no idea why, but my recent little anal story that went on line last week, pended for 6 days and had 30 views. And I did not go in and look at it or make any changes after it had been submitted, so the additional views were not from me at all. The Earth Day contest had not started either, so perhaps 6-7 days is the norm now for a story to pend. As for the views, well, who knows.

The Earth Day contest has started, but for some reason it's still the Valentine's Day contest link on the main page. The only way I've found to the Earth Day contest stories so from the Lit home page.
