Pending Views?

I know that when a story is pending it can still get hit on the view counter if I or the Lit site editors view it for some reason.

I recently submitted chapter 5 of a story I'm writing and I saw that it has 52 views and is still pending. I myself can account for maybe 4 of those views at most. None of my other chapters had this many views while still pending, and I was wondering if anyone knew why the number might have suddenly bumped up so high?

There have been two threads on this already in the last week. Yes, it is happening, and, yes, it's been reported. Probably just a glitch in the system. They've been doing updates.
