It's been a while since I submitted stories and I'm not familiar with the new console.

In the WORKS > PENDING (tab) one of my stories now says "new" instead of pending but it isn't published.

One of my other articles did publish today and it's also marked "new" and appears on the published tab.

Is the article stuck or can you only publish once in a 24 hour period?

Any help would be appreciated.

Look again in a couple of hours. Everything doesn't post at the same time here or before or the same time it appears on your submissions page as having cleared.

From what I've seen, there's a story release cycle goes live at midnight (in some US time zone) every night.

I left the release cycle of my latest multi chapter thing up to Laurel. I saw each chapter go live at exactly the same time in Australia (3.00 pm) every 24 hours. Based on this evidence, there's at least one server compile every 24 hours.

Pending

Sir,

In the old control panel, you submitted your story and it was put into the "waiting for approval" queue. Your story was listed as "pending" in blue letters. When your story was moved from the "waiting for approval" to "waiting to be posted at the usual time" queue, the blue letters in "pending" turned to grey.

The same thing happens in the new control panel, but with a different look. When you click on the Pending tab, if your story is in the "waiting to be approved" queue, it will say "pending," in grey letters. If it says "New" it has been moved to the "waiting to be posted" queue. If it has been posted as a new story, it will not be listed in your Pending tab. Hope that helps. It took me a while to figure it out.

The day you see the NEW tag on a pending story means it will publish the next day sometime after midnight.

So, if it turned to NEW today, it would publish tomorrow morning.
