I put in two stories last night (well, really a prologue and a first chapter). My author submissions screen says they have now been viewed 24 times. If I recall correctly, anytime I open it up and tweak it is a "view" (and it puts the story back at the end of the line to be posted). Any idea why it would show that many views when I haven't opened it up since I submitted it? Is there some Super Seekrit Club that gets to view stories before they're posted? (And if so, are they hiring? And do they pay?)

No one knows why, it's happening to everyone, and it's been reported. See here and here.

Hi
I had posted concerns about this as some authors thought this could be some type of story stealing "bot" from another site. It is not apparently because they are working on updating how readers search for stories the system is sweeping constantly and giving the pending stories "views" these views will not put you back in the que. The only time you will be bounced back is if you yourself view your story because then the site thinks you edited it and it goes back. So far the extra views have not set back any posting times that I know of.
