As a casual social indicator of Republican v Democrat I'd agree with that.


As an indicator of political L v R I disagree.

Using abortion as an example, Right wingers think business between a doc a patient isn't anyone and damn sure ain't the governments bidnizz. The right thinks the only limiting factor on that doctors services should be the patients ability to afford them. MAX individual liberty and choice, absolute bare minimum government involvement, capitalism, M'aricuh.

Left wing will want to make the choice for EVERYONE, they for whatever reason, just can't let people and their HC providers freely exchange goods and services.

They either want to socialize it and force everyone to buy them, or ban/prohibit/regulate the HC provider-patient interaction because so evil. Either way at the end of the the left wants government control and regularly argues over how the government should control an industry/market/commercial interactions like HC/abortions ......the right does not. The right wants the government to take their percentage and fuck off.
