Remember when people were actually pen pals? wow Writing things on paper and putting it in an envelope and mailing it. Can you imagine what would happen if we had to go back to that? We want instant everything now. - ok at least I do. Instant work results, instant mr wonderful on dating sites, instant answers to any question we ask and so on. Waiting on the mail to bring a letter?? Just imagine that for a second. Like it's sooooo long ago but it isn't.

I can tell you with certainty that there are still pen pals out there, and that nothing can quite compare with that thrill when you check your mail and find that envelope amongst the dross...

Going back to that from our current age of texting (and walking into fountains, off of piers, etc) and deep-seated need of instant gratification would be a game changer, that's for sure. I for one would like to see how those under, say, twenty-five react...it would be quite interesting, and I admit, a wee bit entertaining as well.

There is still a place in the world for letters, though it is shrinking. Give it a try before it is too late!

Sad but true, people today, specially young people want everything and they want it NOW. I see people in my neighborhood jump in their car and drive 300 ft to get their mail and drive back home. From the looks of some of them the walk would do them some good.
