If you've seen my Peasant's Feast thread and read through it, you probably know that I would like to do a Literotica Peasant's Feast as well. I was not kidding about that. I'm thinking springtime (those of you with kids will understand this is spring break...LOL) of 2007 and hopefully I can get a respectable amount of Litsters to our modest little abode for a Peasant's/Writer's feast.

If you've read my original Peasant's Feast thread, you also know that I live in Western Maryland. I understand that we're spread out not only across the U.S. but also across the world. I know that it would be close to impossible for a lot of you to get here, however I'm keeping my fingers crossed for at least a few...

Spring 2007 gives everyone plenty of time to think it over and decide whether or not you actually like me enough to meet me in person. ;) If I don't get enough responses, I can always just chalk it up to bad timing and maybe mention it again sometime close to 2008. However, if you're genuinely interested, post here.

Here's hoping.

Some years ago, Trinique, (1970's) there was a book out titled "The Impoverished Students Book of Brewery, Eatery and Home Cookery". My elder sister had a copy and I've read it.

It had a number of recipes for such things as "ABM Stew" which consisted of one small can of Dinnty Moore Stew in a very large stock pot with added carrots, potatoes, etc. As the stew dwindles you simply add more stuff. As I recall, I made one pot of that in my Junior year that lasted an entire simester.

Also there was ways of making all kinds of beer and wine (some rather brutal). My room mates and I used a garbage can to brew wine. Made lots of about 30 gallons every few weeks. :D

Yikes. I'm amazed you're still alive.

Althought this explains a lot...did you gain superpowers along with the other, er, effects of this diet?

No... but I survived college :D

This tells me nothing about whether or not I'm going to be having a Peasant's Feast this coming spring. :D

If it's hotels and such that are a problem. Have no fear. I have massive amounts of blankets and floor space. It'll be like a commune.

Works for me, maybe I can work it in around my schedule of cons and stuff. I know I have EpiCon at the beginning of March, and the Chicago Litogether in the other half, and possibly Winter Fantasy in late January or early February, but don't know what's up with April or May yet.

I will be attending. I will be showing up whenever you come to get me and that is a promise! Hooray for 1 definite. :D

Trinique: Both your feasts sound like a lot of fun. I hope you all have a wonderful time.

I doubt it, Trini- that's right about he time I'm adding a new addition to my household. Now, if I have to drive up to get her, we might be able to coordinate and swing past.

Trini, I'd love to meet you in person. But spring 2007 is out. My wife will be recovering from knee replacement surgery. If you schedule another one later, I'd
be more than happy to try to be there.

If spring is a bad time, I'd like to get posts on when a good time would be. Maybe that can be arranged better.
